We used 2 by 2 inch pine to construct the frame of the box.

* Note: although the actual dimensions are 1 1/2 by 1 1/2, this will be called 2 by 2 at your hardware store.

We used 1/2 inch think MDF, cut at a 45 degree angle to frame the touch screen and keep the sheet of acrylic in place.
